Your experience stays yours.

Your AI prepares a draft from information available to it. Insider receives the draft if you choose automatic return, or the profile records you choose to save when you paste manually. Imported permissions start off, and matching and sharing are separate choices.

Adding a note

If you add details here, your note and minimal draft headings are sent to our AI service to suggest changes. Existing private summaries are not sent. Voice recording starts only when you choose it; the recording goes to OpenRouter for transcription, then you can edit the words before adding them. Insider does not save the recording or the note. Adding details does not save your profile or approve sharing.

What gets shared

A clear ordinary ask authorizes only the outreach it describes. Ambiguous requests and new private or identifying details, introductions, spending, or real-world commitments need your approval. Contributors approve the exact answer before it is delivered. Phone numbers and message-routing identifiers are stored separately from experience profiles and are unavailable to the matching agent.

Owner-confirmed experience is not independently verified. We minimize identifying details, but context can still identify someone, especially in a small community. We do not promise anonymity or end-to-end encryption.

Your asks and answers

Answers appear under the contributor’s chosen Insider nickname, with only approved wording about their experience. Your name and phone number are not shown. Ratings contribute to a count of best answers, without disclosing the asker’s identity.

You can start a new ask while another ask or answer is still open. Ratings are optional and never block a new question. A question saved during setup is held until your phone is linked. Deleting your profile also removes these saved questions and answers.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we keep your name, email, mobile number, and note encrypted, and send a copy to our team’s private chat so we can follow up personally. We use them only to contact you about joining Insider, never sell or share them, and delete them when you ask.

Retention and deletion

The copied prompt contains the instructions, export format, and permission to send an unapproved draft to Insider for your private review. Your AI does not need to open a setup link. The prompt includes a one-use return credential, so keep it private: your clipboard, browser, or AI provider may retain it. Anyone with that credential can send one draft to this session, but cannot read your profile. It expires after 15 minutes and stops working when a draft is returned, replaced, saved, or discarded. Only a hash of a newly issued return credential is stored by Insider.

Pasted drafts are not stored by Insider until you save; note editing sends only the information described above for processing. Automatically returned drafts are encrypted in storage, available only to your browser session, and expire after 15 minutes. A cleanup runs every minute to remove expired drafts; saving or discarding a draft also removes it. The return capability can send one draft; it cannot read your profile, approve it, or activate your account. Abandoned accounts with no saved profile expire after 24 hours. Inbound text used to process a request is cleared after processing, or within 24 hours if processing fails. Approved profile and request records are retained until you delete them. Content-free operational records are retained for 30 days.

Delete your profile from account controls to revoke access, remove your saved experience and phone routing, and cancel pending work. Messages already delivered to another phone cannot be recalled. A minimal account tombstone can remain for database integrity, without your name, experience, or phone.

Who processes your information

Your chosen AI provider processes the initial export conversation. Insider uses OpenRouter and its selected model provider for scoped request processing, with no-collection and zero-retention routing required. Linq processes text messages. Insider does not log private profiles, message contents, credentials, or phone numbers.

Answers, points and participation

Complete onboarding to receive starter answers. Asking is free. Some delivered answers use your answer balance, while eligible delivered answers earn points. Referral points are earned after the referred member's first answer is delivered. Points may become eligible for cash-out after a holding period. Answers depend on relevant members being available.

Ask your Insider to pause messages, resume, or open your profile for a private sign-in link. Standard text opt-out commands still work too.
